Your first Sharp Intel session
- Open Picks and choose a sport or market you understand.
- Open a selection and inspect the supporting sharps, their records, stake size, and entry prices.
- Compare their entry with the price you can get now. A moved price means you are evaluating a different opportunity.
- Visit a sharp's profile before following. Use My Sharps to focus on the bettors you chose and Feed to explore activity.
- If you take a position, record your actual price and stake. Your execution can differ from the original pick.
Tip: Sharp Score ranks observed support; it is not a win probability. Read the separate opportunity status, quote, and supporting records. A high score can still be labeled Research, with an unvalidated edge.

Research a player prop
- In Hit Rates, choose your sport and market. Compare recent samples with longer samples where available.
- Open the player details and inspect the game log. Check whether a few unusually big games are driving the average.
- Check role, lineup or injury news, and matchup context. Historical hit rate is not today's probability.
- Use Research for the relevant sheet or Games for the matchup as a whole.
- Compare the exact line and current price across the books you use.
Tip: Over 4.5 and over 5.5 are different bets, even for the same player. Compare matching markets and lines before deciding which price is better.

Check a price or an edge
Start by selecting the sportsbooks you can actually use. In Soft Lines, choose your comparison deliberately: a reference book and the market average answer different questions. In Positive EV, read the fair-value estimate and the available price together.
Before acting, verify that the sportsbook still offers the displayed line and price. Check the market's settlement rules, especially when comparing different operators. A displayed edge relies on the estimate and price being relevant; it does not guarantee an outcome.
Tip: An unusually large difference deserves a second look. Confirm the line, market, update time, and price at the destination book.
For two-sided strategies, read arbitrage or middles before using their calculators. Both execution and settlement rules matter.
Why is my board empty?
Work through these checks before resetting everything:
- Confirm the selected sport and date have games or markets available.
- Clear restrictive filters, then add them back one at a time.
- Check your selected books and market. An unavailable price cannot populate that combination.
- Confirm your plan includes the feature you are opening.
- Refresh once. If the problem persists, note the page, time, sport, market, and active filters.
A quiet Sharp Intel board or missing trends can reflect the available activity and qualifying research. It does not necessarily mean the tool is broken.
