How to use Sharp Intel

Understand each view, Sharp Score, opportunity status, entry prices, follows, and tracked bets.

Open Sharp Intel to research observed sports betting activity on Polymarket. Start with one selection, understand who is backing it, and check its current assessment before interpreting the activity as value.

Plan access and follow limits can differ. Use your account's access message and plan comparison for the current limits.

Markets

Use Markets to compare observed positions around the same market. Inspect both sides; a large stake total alone does not establish current value. Open the exact selection for its assessment and quote.

My Sharps

Use the personal view to focus on followed bettors. Their historical performance, sport/bet-type scope, and paused follow status determine what you should expect to see. Your personal view does not change the market-wide score for a selection.

Feed

Use Feed to inspect individual buys, adds, trims, and exits. Check the activity timestamp and distinguish a new entry from a change to an existing position. Activity is not automatically a currently qualified opportunity.

Tail Tracker

Use the tracker to review wagers you recorded, including the actual stake and price. A manual receipt is your record; it is not independent evidence that the app executed an order. Correct a record when your accepted ticket differs.

Your first selection, step by step

  1. Open Picks, choose a sport, and check whether you are viewing All Picks or My Sharps.
  2. Read the selection, line, market, and game status. Two positions on different lines are not the same bet.
  3. Open its details. Inspect sharp support, opposing support, stake versus usual, and the supporting bettors' records.
  4. Read the opportunity assessment and its reason. A high score can still be labeled Research.
  5. Compare the historical entry with the current quote. Check the quote timestamp, available size, and any maximum-entry condition.
  6. If you decide to place a wager, do that at the destination operator. Record the price and stake you actually received afterward.

Read the numbers correctly

MetricWhat it tells youWhat it does not tell you
Sharp ScoreA 1–100 ranking of observed backing, accounting for opposing supportA win probability or promised return
Sharp supportEligible sharps observed on this exact sideIndependent confirmation from every bettor
WatchingTracked wallets without eligible sharp supportThe same evidence as qualified sharp support
Bet vs. usual / convictionStake relative to that bettor's usual stake for the sport and bet typeA multiple of the chance of winning
EntryHistorical average entry priceA price you can still obtain
NowCurrent displayed market priceA guaranteed fill for your desired size
Adjusted ROIHistorical ROI with small samples pulled toward zeroA forecast for the next bet

A dash means unavailable information; it is not zero. A + beside a count or stake can indicate an observed minimum when coverage is incomplete. All Picks and My Sharps use the same market-wide score for the same selection; your followed-bettor stake can differ from the full market's stake.

Understand opportunity status

  • Research: activity worth investigating; the edge has not been validated.
  • Qualified: the current model, quote, execution, and timing checks pass.
  • Price moved: the assessed economics no longer meet the entry requirements.
  • Split: conflicting evidence prevents a recommendation.
  • Live / Finished: in-game context or history, rather than a new recommendation under the pregame method.
  • Unavailable: a required input is missing, stale, or unsupported; read the stated reason.

Example: A selection can score 85 while showing Research. That means substantial observed support, not an 85% win probability and not proof of positive expected return. Changing to My Sharps does not turn that same selection into a validated opportunity.

Timing and slippage

Price move since entry compares the sharp's old entry with the current market. Execution slippage compares an executable quote with an obtained or assumed order price. These are different measurements.

Where an assessment is available, all-in price includes recorded execution-cost assumptions; maximum entry is a conditional price ceiling. If the quote expires or the game starts, the old assessment should not guide a new entry. A screenshot is a dated snapshot: reopen the selection.

A displayed sizing guide is conditional on its inputs and saved bankroll. It can appear during Research without establishing an edge. Review the assumptions and edit the tracking amount to match your actual ticket. Do not treat the score alone as an instruction to bet a particular amount.

Follow and track deliberately

Open a sharp's profile and compare performance by sport + bet type, including the settled sample. An overall record can hide very different results in different markets. Follow all activity or select only the supported sports and bet types that interest you. Pausing a follow preserves its settings while stopping new followed activity and alerts until resumed.

Saving a tracked bet records a receipt; it never places a wager. Correct the receipt if your actual odds or stake differ from the prefilled values. Your manual record, a sharp's historical record, and the strategy's published evidence are separate records.

Troubleshooting

  • Qualified now is empty: that can be correct. Current model and execution checks may exclude visible Research activity.
  • My Sharps is quiet: check follows, paused status, sport/bet-type scope, and whether those bettors have new activity.
  • A score or sizing guide disappeared: required context may have expired, the price may have moved, or the game may have started.
  • An alert links to unavailable activity: the exact selection may no longer be eligible. Check the current state rather than a substitute side.
