Open WNBA Top Props. Use prop rankings to shortlist players, then check their samples, roles, and current lines.
Use the ranking as a first pass
Open the slate and find a player/market combination. Read the threshold and the available score or research summary before opening more detail. Rankings help organize attention; they do not remove the need to inspect the evidence.
Inspect the underlying games
Compare the available recent and longer hit-rate samples. Look at how often the player cleared the line and how the results are distributed. A few unusually large games can lift an average without improving consistency.
Check the basketball role
Review available minutes, usage, lineup, and injury context. A teammate's absence or a changed rotation can alter opportunities, but older samples do not automatically adjust to a new role.
Example: a points prop has strong recent results, but minutes fell in the last two games. Investigate why before treating the broader rate as representative of the next game.
Compare thresholds and odds
Use Hit Rate Matrix to compare alternate thresholds, then inspect the current quote for the exact selection. Lower thresholds usually trade a higher hit rate for a smaller payout; the research percentage alone does not establish value.
Troubleshooting
Check slate date, filters, and available current props if a player is missing. Where a grade or score is unavailable, inspect the supporting history rather than reading it as a zero. Use Defense vs Position for additional opponent context, with its sample limitations in mind.
