How to use the Bet Tracker

Log the bets you actually place, let finished games grade themselves, and see your profit by day, sport, market and book.

The Bet Tracker records the wagers you actually place: the sportsbook, the odds you got and your stake. Saved plays and slips are research. A tracked bet is a record of money you put down.

Track a bet

  1. Save a play from any tool with its heart or save action. The confirmation has a Track bet button. You can also choose Track bet on any play in your betslip, or Track this bet after opening a sportsbook from a Games matchup.
  2. Pick the sportsbook you bet at. Current prices from every book carrying that line are listed. Use Other sportsbook if yours isn't there.
  3. Enter the odds you actually got and your stake. To win shows the payout before you save.
  4. Choose Track bet.

A tracked bet leaves your betslip and appears in the Bet Tracker. The play still shows as saved in the tool you tracked it from. Removing a play from your betslip, or un-saving it in a tool, never deletes a tracked bet. Delete it from the Bet Tracker instead.

How grading works

Bets on markets our grader covers settle automatically after the game ends. Until then the tracker shows them as Grading. The Track bet dialog tells you before you save whether a bet can be graded automatically.

Some markets can't be graded automatically, such as MMA, some tennis, futures, and a few soccer and college props. After the game, those bets move to Needs your grade.

Set or change a result

Every bet has Set result, or Change result once it's settled. Choose:

  • Won, Lost, Push or Void
  • ½ Won or ½ Lost for quarter lines that settle half your stake each way
  • Cashed out if you cashed out early or hedged out. Enter the total the book paid you back, stake included. Your profit is that amount minus your stake.

A result you set is final: automatic grading won't change it. Clear grade removes your result. The bet goes back to open before the game, or back to automatic grading after it.

Edit or delete a bet

Choose Edit to change the sportsbook, odds or stake. Delete bet removes the bet after you confirm.

Read your results

  • Profit and ROI count settled bets. Pushes and voids return your stake, so they don't count toward the amount risked.
  • Record is wins, losses and pushes. Half results count as a win or a loss. Cash-outs are left out of the record but included in profit and ROI.
  • Beat the close shows how often your price beat the closing line, once graded bets have closing prices. See What is CLV?
  • The calendar shows profit for each day by game date. Choose a day to see its bets.
  • Breakdown splits results by sport, market, sportsbook, or the tool you tracked the bet from. Choose a row to filter the list.
  • The date range and sport filters at the top narrow everything on the page.

Troubleshooting

  • A bet still says Grading after the game: automatic grading can take a while after the final. If a bet hasn't settled a day after the game, it moves to Needs your grade so you can set it yourself.
  • The dialog says the market can't be graded automatically: set the result yourself after the game.
  • A bet is missing: check that you're signed in to the same account you tracked it with.
